You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
02 Description of Service
Scripturix is a Bible study platform that provides access to Scripture in multiple translations, along with tools for reading, searching, bookmarking, highlighting, note-taking, and reading-plan tracking. The Service is available on web and mobile devices.
We offer a free tier with core functionality and premium tiers (Pro and Lifetime) that unlock additional features such as cross-device sync, advanced search, and expanded storage.
03 User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
You may authenticate via email/password or third-party providers (Google, Apple). Third-party sign-in is subject to the respective provider's terms.
04 User Content
"User Content" refers to any data you create within the Service, including bookmarks, highlights, notes, reading-plan progress, and collections. You retain full ownership of your User Content.
By using the Service, you grant Scripturix a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. Your data is end-to-end encrypted where technically feasible.
You may export or delete your User Content at any time through your account settings.
05 Subscriptions & Payments
Scripturix offers the following tiers:
Free — Core Bible reading, search, and local bookmarks at no cost.
Pro — Monthly or annual subscription with cross-device sync, advanced features, and expanded storage.
Lifetime — One-time payment granting permanent access to all Pro features.
06 Intellectual Property
The Scripturix name, logo, interface design, and proprietary software are the intellectual property of Scripturix and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Bible text is displayed under licence from the respective copyright holders. Each translation's copyright notice is displayed alongside its text. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit Bible text obtained through the Service beyond fair-use provisions.
07 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
Scrape, harvest, or programmatically extract data from the Service without written permission.
Use automated tools (bots, crawlers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.
Upload or transmit harmful code, malware, or unsolicited communications.
08 Privacy & Data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described therein.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. User Content is end-to-end encrypted where technically feasible. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
09 Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings. Upon deletion, your User Content will be permanently removed within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will provide reasonable notice where possible, except in cases requiring immediate action.
10 Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Scripturix is a study tool. Bible text, cross-references, and commentary are provided for educational and devotional purposes. They do not constitute professional theological, legal, or medical advice.
11 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scripturix and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
12 Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We encourage you to review these terms periodically. The "Effective" date at the top indicates when these terms were last revised.
